What to expect
I am an Integrative Counsellor for young women based in Oxfordshire. I offer a safe, non-judgemental space where young women aged 18-30 can feel respected and valued. Whatever your circumstances, therapy can be the first step in an empowering journey of self-awareness and transformational change. I believe we all have within us the strength and resources to uniquely grow, flourish and have more self-acceptance. Each person seeing a counsellor has different needs or concerns, some examples may be: anxiety, bereavement, bullying, feeling low or sad, low self esteem, pregnancy and birth, relationship concerns, spirituality, stress etc.
My core way of working is Person-Centred and I integrate other models such as Transactional Analysis (TA), Psychodynamic, Transpersonal Approach, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I also love to work creatively, if the client feels open to this. Expressing in a non-verbal way can help reach deeper and sometimes more inaccessible parts of ourselves.
